Want to buy CV Ultron 28/1.9

Tue Jan 23, 2007, 10:58 AM
I'm looking to buy a black Cosina-Voigtlander Ultron 28mm f/1.9 - should be fine mechanically and optically. Cosmetics don't matter. Let me know if you have one or know where I can find one. Thanks.

wow, that looks really nice! clean and uncluttered. professional but with a personal touch.. it's really great!

good luck with completing it!

as for my site, i honestly know next to nothing about building a webpage - but i'm going to try! see what i'll come up with. perhaps i'll screw up hard, who knows? can't hurt trying! and i'm planning to keep it really simple anyway.

cheers!

Well like I said, if you want help, maybe say you've got some basic design ideas and pictures, i could help you implement them into a webpage .

"a trizillion stock shots of yourself in various emo/semi-erotic poses"

All i read there was "MySpace MySpace MySpace"

I know what you mean about a project.

I have a couple in mind, but they seem so short.

We need some big organisation to fund a worldwide trip.

yeah.. i'm dieing to travel again. but more than that.. i wan't to do something local as well, for documentary photography, it's just so 'easy' to go to some asian country and take pictures of poor kids on the street.. it's harder to make every-day things look interesting. and that's what i'd like to try.. : )

but, as soon as i have some more money, i'll be on the road again anyway!

I'm going to Scotland the 22st of April. I just hope I come home with more than the cliché hill-shots (Lord of the Rings Shire views, you know).

I didn't. I went there this summer. In all honesty I didn't care much as I'm not into landscape or architecture photography. I hope you have fun though! With the girlfriend?
:iconisildur88:
I'm not really "into" landscape and architecture but at the moment it's good for practicing my skills etc. I just found this guy, perhaps you've already seen some of his stuff but he has some great and colourful landscape material.

Sadly I'm not going with the girlfriend! It's organised by our school. I do get to enjoy the company of a couple of good friends and some of our nicest teachers, I'm sure I'll be able to make some potraits. I'll have to use my Konika with film because my mother needs the digi. Shouldn't be much of a problem as long as I can find a good scanner to scan them in properly.

landscape and architecture is indeed good practice - makes you get really familiar with composition and perspective. after a while you don't have to think about it anymore to get it right, and that's great for every kind of photography.

if you don't find a good scanner, feel free to mail me the negatives and i'll scan them for you - my new scanner is quite good, actually (contrary to the last one).

cheers!
